I’ve taken everything I learned in living a double life (maybe triple life).

On the one side, I’ve been teaching and studying mindful practices like there’s no tomorrow. On the other side, I’ve been working in different corporate settings, health & wellness startups, and now running my own mindful consulting business.

Week 1: Breath

>> Learn the difference between a style of breath to uplift your mood versus a style of breath that encourages slowing down.

Week 2: Meditation

>> Meditation has shown to decrease in the size of the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for fear, anger, and stress.

>> As a leader your underlying thoughts could run on “is this going to succeed?”

>> Get familiar with your thoughts while also decreasing the size of your brain associated with limiting-beliefs and fear.

Week 3: Mindful Journaling

>> Get familiar with your thoughts while self-reflecting on not only your practice but anything else going on in life and business.

Little secret, mindful journaling was how I moved past my surface level thoughts and tapped into my creativity to create this course (and other things as well!).

>> Purge your mind of agitation and ruminating thoughts. Create a clean slate for the imagination to enter. More imagination leads to more creativity in problem-solving and finding success as a leader.

>> My theory is that a big reason many of us do not sustain a meditation practice is that we are not incorporating self-reflection into it. Something as simple as “what was my experience” can completely change your consistency instead of relying on mainstream meditation telling you you’ll feel calm and zen.

Not a problem at all! These practices are practical and translate well for anyone. While you may not identify as a business owner or entrepreneur I would beg to differ that you are a leader in some way 🙂

Good question! It probably isn’t much different but what I’m proposing to you is that we’ll create consistency together. You’ll also get the chance to self-reflect and explore why it doesn’t work for you. I would say that’s the difference.

Haha! I don’t know! What I will say is that I’m bringing in practices that I’ve been practicing since I was 23 (shortly after decided I wanted to teach).  But that’s close to 10 years of compiling information and seeing how the practices work for me. While this might not be any different than finding the information on your own, it takes time to locate the right resources and I hope with this course you won’t have to do a lot of digging. I am happy to point you in the right direction of apps and free online content though- email me!

More about me

Hi my name is Brenda or Bee. I’ve lived a double-life (maybe triple life) for several years now.

On the one side, I’m a yoga and meditation teacher and practitioner— studying these mindful practices like there’s no tomorrow.
